I have tried sweet potatoes before, of course, but I have never tried to grow them. The new Mother Earth News had an article about growing them so I picked up a couple at the farmers’ market last Friday.
After just a week in the water they have little roots and tiny little slips starting on top. It will be great if they do well and I will have another storage crop to add to my potatoes and winter squash.
