The sweet potato slips are rooted and now in the ground. I know it is a bit late but we get our best heat in August and September around here so these heat lovers should do well. Hopefully! This is the first time I have planted sweets and it is a fun process that started awhile ago.
I also added some later tomatoes and tomatillos yesterday. I like to see how long I can keep tomatoes going. If I had better winter sun I might be able to get fruit all year long.
Yesterday was also a time to plant out two asparagus plants and fertilize the whole garden.
